ROUGH AND NATURAL SHORTBREAD DESIGN
Misura’s Multigrain line launches a new shortbread.
The shape of this biscuit had to convey the raw naturalness of a unique combination of grains, both rustic and wholemeal and greedily authentic.
This communication goal led the food design project.
The shortbread structure draws inspiration from the shore stones shape: polished and irregular, at the same time.
It reminds a giant plettro, a drop with one round and one conical end, lightened in the centre with a hole that makes the biscuit look like a tribal pendant.
The task of the void in the bisquit’s centre is to favour its lightness and the palatability despite its deliberately heavy appearance and the extremely relevant size.
