SAFFRON, THE YELLOW TASTE OF GOOD MOOD
For four generations, Zaffy, an historic but innovation-focused company, has been working to bring excellent saffron on the Italian cuisine, a product ideal both for sweets and savoury dishes.
The company decided to launch a number of new products with saffron as a special ingredient: Cookies, rusks, breadsticks and herbal teas needed a new dress to present themselves on the market.
In the beginning, the project was about an analytical overview of the consumption trends which identified an interesting communication area: in scientific literature, saffron is described as a therapeutic spice enabling the positive influence of the mood.
The positioning concept FEED THE GOOD MOOD, created for these products becomes a claim, a promise and a call to action as well.
Consequently, it reflects into any aspect of the visual identity system: lively colours, and stylised graphics that represent this noble ingredient, able to make these products unique superfoods.
The client was really happy with the work done so asked for more: the restyling of the classic saffron pack, the organic one, and a special selection of greek saffron.
